Moussa Dembele
The Mirror saying we are about to bid £20m for him, he looks pretty damn good and young, thoughts?

Re: Moussa Dembele
People will say "it's only the SPL" etc

But he does seem to have something about him, was linked with Tottenham and Man Utd back when he was at Fulham.

£20 mill is a bit much but he'd be worth twice that if he had a good six months in the prem

Like Lacazette, Bacca and Batshit won't happen, we will get this type of shit all the way up to Jan 31st then sign some shit on loan deals

Same bollocks different transfer window

Don't go to bed just yet lol

Re: Moussa Dembele
We could have had him for about 200 grand compo 6 months ago. Perfect for us then and will break all four limbs running out for his first start with us.

Re: Moussa Dembele
Rather 20m on him than 15 on the Brentford chap

Re: Moussa Dembele
A young simone zaza - avoid and doubt we will stump up 20m. LOAN WITH AN OPTION TO BUY is our only transfer strategy

Re: Moussa Dembele
All over their forum that we have bid it. Wasn't he quoted as £40m about a week ago though?

Re: Moussa Dembele
It's a high price, but you're not going to get a good striker for much less these days.

There is a definite risk involved in this one.

When I think of free scoring Celtic strikers, I think Gary Hooper.

Yours.

Re: Moussa Dembele
I think of Henrik Larsson.

A long time ago Scorchio when they had a competitive Rangers side and a few decent players at Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Killie and Dundee United.

Allegedly half of Europe wants him. So can't see us getting him

Re: Moussa Dembele
I think Hogan's record in the Championship is better. It is a tougher league. Plus he is playing for a midtable championship side. Most of Dembele's games are a walk in the park in the SPL.

Re: Moussa Dembele
Jordan Rhodes was a reasonably good scorer in the Championship ( and one or two of our posters wanted him here ) but Middlesbrough are trying to offload him.

Scoring in the PL is much different to the Championship so I'd be surprised to see Hogan being prolific.

Re: Moussa Dembele
He played the season before as an 18/19 yo for Fulham & scored a dozen or so goals in an average team.

Re: Moussa Dembele
Dembele scored a few in Champs Lge this year, 4 in 4 for France U21's

Exactly the type of player we should be going for (should have done in the Summer).

Re: Moussa Dembele
Saw him as a kid at Fulham. He is impressive but 20mil is a gamble. Is he better than Fletcher or Martinez? I think he is but would he have a big impact or be one for future seasons.

Joey Woodwork 7:15 Thu Jan 5
Re: Moussa Dembele
Yes he is better than those 2.

Re: Moussa Dembele
We already bid 20 million for him. It was turned down.

He was, of course, available for free in summer

Re: Moussa Dembele
Trial by youtube - he looks pretty brilliant on those clips. Bit of everything, and pretty much the perfect physique for a modern striker imo.

Re: Moussa Dembele
Looks top drawer to me. Physical fast hard working can score and has a nice bit of flair about him. The complete number 9 for me, very much in the drogba/lukaku mould.

The same people slagging off the spl were the same ones turning their noses up at Forster van dijk and wanyama.
